Yes, it was used by buddhists (or some other, dont remember) and meant peace, untill nazzis claimed it. The buddhist (?) one has softer edges tho and more peaceful design

Actually... That level design was described in the instruction booklet as a swastika... All of the levels in the original Legend of Zelda were supposed to look like something. I think the first underworld was an eagle or something. Third was certainly a swastika.

NAZI! ONE z, not two. Also, the Hitler and the Nazis used a "crooked" swastika. It meant was a symbol of good luck in one culture, protection in another, etc., it's actually a GOOD symbol. If it were turned 35 degrees, however, then YES you would have Hitler's naughty Nazi symbol. Now STFU.
