    they have little remote controlled robots. The guys who designed the robots accurately thought "Hey, most people around the age of 18 have played video games before, right? why not let them control the robots with an Xbox controller?" that's not surprising at all.

    oh in know this lol the army use them to guide missiles and recon shit well u get the drift and this is because like all the new army recruits are more into games and everything so its easy for them to get used to the controls

    They are Future Force Warrior, america's advanced soldier program. they are testing the technologies of the future soldier. BTW: the things on the ends of the guns are MILES. Multiple Integrated Laser Education System. they use lasers to simulate bullets. used in training, soldier vs. soldier, but without bullets. when you're shot, it makes a BEEEEEEEEEEEEET sound. the eyepiece is actually a tactical information system. essentially a map, with info like.........where is the enemy tank's coming to kill us with a gun of doom. and yes, that is a xbox controller. BTW THEY'RE ARMY, NOT MARINES.

    The robots they use are controlled by xbox controllers because the bots are used to clear out bombs. Why build an expensive controller for a bot that's going to blow up anyway?
